It Started With a Problem We Couldn't Ignore

Our founder, Rajesh Kumar, moved three times in four years when he first came to Bengaluru. Each time, something went wrong. A cracked television. A missing box. A mover who quoted one price and charged another. Furniture that arrived scratched because it was carelessly loaded. Each time, he thought — there has to be a better way to do this.

So in 2009, he started Professional Movers with one truck, five trained packers, and a rule that still applies today: never let a customer feel the anxiety that comes with handing over everything they own to a stranger.

The early days were tough. We were a small, unknown company in a city full of established movers. But word spread — because when you do the job right, people tell their friends. That first year, we shifted 40 homes. The year after, 180. By 2015, we'd moved over 2,000 families and opened our first warehouse facility. Today, we operate across 200+ cities and have helped over 10,000 families and 500 businesses relocate.

But the number that matters most to us isn't the one on this page. It's the number of times someone has called us back — to move their parents, to refer their colleague, to thank us six months later and say the move was the smoothest part of an otherwise stressful life transition. That's why we do this.
